New Hope needs drivers to pick up the CPC van one Sunday a month at 7:30 a.m. and make a loop through Reston or Falls Church, deliver passengers to New Hope on Stringfellow Rd and return the van to CPC. All within 2 hours and you can still get to worship at either CPC or visit New Hope. Prefer to make the return home trip with folks after lunch? We need that help, too. MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOLARSHIPS. Since 2012, CPC has awarded as a scholarship to graduates from Mountain View Alternative High School who display a caring heart by serving the community. MVHS is a school of second chances, providing an environment for students to flourish while they face challenges in their lives outside the classroom. The scholarship was originally funded by the 2011 Advent Missions Giving. It is now fully disbursed. We want to continue supporting the MVHS graduates. So, would you consider donating to the scholarship fund? If you are, add “MVHS fund” in the memo of your check or in the notation box in the online giving form.
