Ways to Serve

Backpacks. Next week is our final Sunday (August 13) to receive backpacks for local children in need. We especially need large-sized backpacks. Please bring donations to the Missions barrel in the Lobby. Thank you!

Pot Roasts Needed. Our final summer lunches for the Lamb Center (homeless day shelter) is Tuesday August 15. Simple pot roast recipe is on the CPC website sign-up page and at the Connection Center. We can cook it at CPC if you bring it Monday before we serve. Thank you!!

Jobs For Life. Would you be interested in being a partner/mentor to help someone break out of the cycle of poverty? We will have an information meeting about this Fall’s Jobs For Life class on Saturday, August 19 (7:30-2:30pm) at the Lamb Center. Learn more about JFL on our website or contact Sharon Hoover (sharon@centrevillepres.com).
