Guidelines for Celebrating the Lord’s Supper Virtually

As a part of our weekly worship service on Sunday, June 7, 2020 we will be celebrating communion. You are invited to participate in this experience from your home or wherever you view the service.

Communion (the Lord’s Supper) is a sacrament given to all believers by Jesus to remember his death on the cross as a sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant.

To help you prepare spiritually for taking communion please read one of the following scriptural references: Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29

HOW TO TAKE COMMUNION ONLINE
Purchase Grape Juice (quantity depends on the size of your group)

Purchase Bread or Baked Crackers (you can select any bread or cracker of your choice)

Be Ready at Home with Your Elements
All you need to do is follow along online individually, as a family/group. Please prepare small individual pieces of bread and small cups with juice in them for each person present. The Co-pastor will direct you through properly receiving communion.

If you have any further questions please email Pastor Rob (rob@cpceco.org) or Pastor Aaron (aaron@cpceco.org).

We look forward to sharing this very important sacrament together.
