Students (Grades 6-12)
1 Peter 2:9-10 (CSB)
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Dig a Little Deeper Event on 10/27/2019 for all HS and MS students at 6:30 PM at the church. There will be NO Ignite class that morning. Students are welcome to come dressed up for Halloween (PG only) to carve pumpkins and play an interactive murder investigation game. There will be yummy food, drinks, and prizes for all who come. If your student and/or friends are attending, please email Sawyer at email@example.com for a pumpkin count. If you would like to help and volunteer, please reach out to Sawyer as well. We need a few extra parents to help out!
HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY (9th-12th grade)
Our High School group gathers together for the purpose of going beyond just knowing about Jesus, but growing to know and love Jesus—to make their faith their own. Our hope is to lay down a foundation for their faith that they will be able to build on as they leave the ministry and are sent out to wherever God leads them next.
“The Surge“ is the name of our high school student group. 9th – 12th grades meet Sundays 6:30 to 8 PM.
Middle School (6th-8th grade)
Our Middle School group gathers together for the purpose of exploring their faith as they study the Bible together, pray together, and have fun together. When we gather together, it becomes a time and space for students to ask questions and encounter the love and grace of God.
“Ignite” is the name of our middle school group. 6th – 8th grades meet Sundays 11:30 AM to 1 PM.
Missions plays a big part in the life of our church. As a ministry, we have the opportunity to witness what God is doing all around us through our Summer mission trip for High School students and our local summer missions week for Middle School students.
Our hope is for the students to witness what God is doing both locally and globally by coming alongside our missions partners and other missions organizations in the work they have been called to do in their communities. Missions becomes a way to grow in our understanding that our calling as disciples of Jesus to serve and love others can happen everyday and everywhere.
The Student Ministry strives to help families develop a rhythm that is centered around God and be intentional about making the home the primary place of discipleship for the students. We hope to be able to equip parents with the tools to talk about faith and to look for opportunities to point the students to the gospel, in light of the truth that they are offered grace upon grace as parents by our good Father.
Parents, we have a new medical form for 2019-2020. Please fill it out here.
