Mission Teams are being built right now! Why not consider stepping out in faith to help others. Teams are serving on several projects to serve our ministry partners. In 2020, we will serve in West Virginia (April 5-9), Guatemala (July 4-11), and Zambia (August 1-14). Details are available in the Lobby or on the CPC website.

English Class Needs. The waiting list for the class at London Towne Elementary continues to grow. In January, we would like to add a 4th class for the LTES parents. Requirements to teach: Speak English and have a heart to serve. We will train you! Please contact the Director of Missions, Sharon Hoover (sharon@cpceco.org).

Freedom Sunday. We partner with International Justice Mission to fulfill God’s call to seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, and plead for the widow. We will host IJM on January 5 and learn how they make public justice systems work for victims of abuse and oppression, bringing rescue and restoration to victims of slavery and human trafficking.

Advent Missions Giving. This year’s Christmas focus is our mission partner in Nepal, Pastor Philemon Chhetri. Through New Life Mission, he trains native missionaries to preach the Good News to all who have not yet heard. Native (or indigenous) missionaries are so effective because they know the  local language and understand the culture. Our goal is to raise funds to support 20 Nepali missionaries in 2020. Would you consider making a special donation this Christmas to help spread the Good News in this mountainous, Hindu-majority region?    Ways to contribute …via the website (cpceco.org), Check (write ADVENT in the memo line)  Use your phone: Text CPCTEXT ADVENT $100 to 73256. Replace $100 with the amount you would like to give.
