We have been closely following the crises resulting from Hurricane Harvey and now Hurricane Irma. The needs of victims continue to rise as first-responders and disaster relief organizations work day in and day out. The needs will be ongoing for months, even years to come.
CPC has a long history of responding to crises needs throughout the world. Members have helped with immediate response by providing food and water as well as going to help with physical rehab and restoration. Our congregational response is determined by the requests of trusted organizations on the ground at the disaster location.
At this time, disaster relief agencies are requesting financial donations.
We will continue to monitor the situations. As we learn of additional ways to respond, including sending food and/or clothing and sending a clean-up team, we will let everyone know.
