World Vision LogoMission partner World Vision has a global outreach. It is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

We partner specifically with World Vision Appalachia to serve our neighbors in West Virginia. In 1981, World Vision began to reaching out to the children and youth living in poverty in the United States. They focus on community development, disaster response, and child well-being.

World Vision networks with local churches to engage children and youth in positively impacting their community. They also support community-led initiatives, such as back-to-school events, community outreach events, and health fairs. World Vision also hosts work teams to co-labor with homeowners to do home repairs.

World Vision established a Storehouse in Grafton County, West Virginia. They provide resources to residence free or at low costs. Manufacturers and corporate donors supply World Vision with top-quality products, such as hygiene and household essentials, school and office supplies, clothing, health care and medical items, and building materials—all aimed at improving the quality of life for families battling poverty.

CPC regularly sends teams to help with the Storehouse, children’s ministries, and to connect with the community.
