CPC mission partner, Farthest Corners, expresses God’s love in remote regions of Asia where persecution and suffering exist by providing humanitarian aid for the great spiritual, physical and educational needs of the people.
Austin House and his wife, Sinte, along with their children (Ewing, Eliana, and Enoch) live in southeast Asia and serve the people of Thailand and Burma.
Farthest Corners focuses ministry in bringing education, providing relief, and sharing the gospel. Happy’s Home is a safe place for orphans and displaced children. The children receive shelter, food, and education.
Please pray for the Houses as they coordinate ministry efforts and grow together as a family. Pray also for faith and strength for Christians who convert from other religious traditions.
We are thrilled to be active partners in the Houses new initiative, Kalay International Education Center. Land is purchased and the construction is beginning. Enjoy this message from Austin and Sinte:
We welcomed the House family to CPC in Summer 2017 while they are home on furlough! It was a joy to hear more about their ministry plans and vision (including sustainable farming enterprises, preschool education, and teaching English ). Many thanks to the Houses for their time with us in our worship services, teaching in Vacation Bible School, and sharing about being missionaries with our student ministry.
CPC sent a small team to join Austin and Sinte in January 2015. Pastor Rob worked with Austin to give pastor training workshops for new teachers and evangelists. Director of Mission Sharon Hoover with partnered with Sinte to lead seminars on women’s issues and Christian marriage. Dick and Jeff Tredinnick worked with Thai partners to host children’s camps. It was an amazing opportunity to see how the Lord is at work in Thailand!
In 2018, Dick Tredinnick and Sharon Hoover travelled to Myanmar for the opening of the Kalay International Education Center. KIEC has opened its doors to the first class of preschoolers! Continue to hold the ministry in prayer as they expand their presence in the community.
