God has blessed the community through Each Congregant of CPC

Looking back over the past five years, God blessed CPC in amazing ways during Fresh Start with direction and resources that were far beyond our expectations — even in the midst of COVID.  God is so good!

CPC responded in faith to God’s direction, meeting mission needs globally and locally, strengthening our legacy ministries in partnership with our Presbyterian denomination ECO, completing vital renovations to our Church building and grounds, and embarking on new ministry areas including Live Streaming that allowed us to worship together each Sunday during the COVID quarantine. God continues to open new ministry doors and we trust He provides resources to move forward!

CPC ministries were greatly blessed in 2020 as God brought us Pastor Aaron McMillan and family from Michigan to fill the shoes of our beloved Senior Pastor Rob Bromhead who earlier this year started his well-earned retirement following 30+ years of CPC ministry.  Your steady, faithful giving was vital to support our smooth Pastoral transition.  Also, we were able in 2021 to continue growing the new Live Streaming ministry, bring JD our new Youth Pastor on board, complete several compensation initiatives that reinforce our commitment to our great Church staff, and then this fall Session began to focus for 2022 on growing CPC’s discipleship ministry.  Through much prayer and seeking God’s direction we voted as a congregation in November to hire Paul Lauerman as our new Assistant Pastor and to be our ministry lead for discipleship growth.  Paul hit the ground running!

Your financial support continues strong and remains vital as we together with Aaron and Paul embark on our new discipleship faith journey.  As we celebrate Christmas and look ahead, let us not forget where God has taken us with the unexpected, amazing Fresh Start commitment over the past five years. With your continued prayers and commitment as a congregation CPC is ready for God’s “Next Start” — discipleship!
