How to help with the FOOD DRIVE

Help us stock the shelves of our local food pantry with the CPC Spring food drive.

This time of the year finds the shelves at Western Fairfax Christian Ministries emptying faster than donations are keeping up. The summer months are especially difficult for families living on the poverty line. Their food needs increase as children are home and school lunches & breakfasts are not served.

We will commit all of May for our Food Drive this year. Bring donations anytime to CPC!

Want to help extend the reach of the Food Drive?? Host your own mini-food drive at work, with your team, or in your neighborhood! Kits are available at the Connection Center with all that you need to hold your own Food Drive. Please bring all donations by May 31.

Pick up a paper bag with grocery list of needs attached at the Connection Center or download the flyer!

Needs: Cooking oil, pasta sauce, individual fruit juices, canned veggies (but they have already have corn, green beans, and tomato products), canned fruit and individual fruit cups, dry or canned beans, hot and cold cereal, sugar, dish soap shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Print the list (and other details) here: Food Drive 2018

Recipient: Western Fairfax Christian Ministries

Multiply our FOOD DRIVE:  Host a food drive in your office, school, or neighborhood then bring the donations to CPC. We’ll do the transporting to the food pantry. Pick up the full Seven Steps to Host a Mini-Food Drive Kit at the Connection Center!
