Study or Community LifeGroups?

Study LifeGroups meet to study through various Bible studies, training seminars and book clubs.

Community LifeGroups pray together, eat together, study previous weeks’ sermon and serves the community in some way.

STUDY GROUPS are beginning.  Review the offerings on this page.
(Community LifeGroups will resume in May once our congregation has completed “Becoming a Contagious Christian” and “Alpha.”)

SUNDAY MORNING

Study of Jeremiah : While many other prophets had also warned the nation of Judah that invasion, conquest, and exile would result if it didn’t repent and return to God, Jeremiah’s ministry actually culminated in the nation being destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 B.C.  Known as the weeping prophet, Jeremiah was torn between being faithful to preaching God’s judgment and clinging to God’s promise that a remnant would return from exile.   Come join us as we continue our study of this major prophet!

WEDNESDAY MORNING WOMEN’S STUDY

Start/end dates: 01/16/2019 – 04/03/2019  (12 weeks)

9:30 am – 11:30 am    childcare

Cost: $15 for workbooks

Facilitated by Julie Burke

Study of Daniel with Beth Moore: The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures—to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Today, believers face many of the same trials. This study examines how believers can develop integrity in our modern-day Babylon, and then explores prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Christ.

WEDNESDAY EVENING WOMEN’S STUDY

Start/End dates 02/13-03/27/2019

THE STUDY OF GIDEON. When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or a fleece spread beneath the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that. This is a story about God and His people—His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of, even through weakness.

This 7-session study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, learn to see them as the gifts given specifically and strategically by God. If you’ve ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.

If you have the heart to love God and reach your neighbor for Christ we welcome you to join us.
