CO- Pastor Update. Sunday, January 12 we will have the privilege of hearing Pastor Aaron McMillan share a message with our congregation.

We will have a congregational meeting immediately following the worship service to approve the terms of Call and hiring of Aaron McMillan as Co-Pastor of Centreville Presbyterian Church ( bio). Please attend if at all possible.

MISSIONS.
Short-term Missions. Teams are forming for several projects to serve our ministry partners. In 2020, we will serve in West Virginia (April 5-9), Guatemala (July 4-11), and Zambia (August 1-14). Details in the Lobby or on the website.
English Class Needs. The waiting list for the class at London Towne Elementary continues to grow. In January, we would like to add a 4th class for the LTES parents. Requirements to teach: Speak English and have a heart to serve. We will train you! Please contact the Director of Missions Sharon Hoover (sharon@cpceco.org).
Freedom Sunday. We partner with International Justice Mission to fulfill God’s call to seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, and plead for the widow. We will host IJM on January 5th to learn how they make public justice systems work for victims of abuse and oppression, bringing rescue and restoration to victims of slavery and human trafficking.
Discipleship.
Students. High School Mission Trip. July 18-24- Students do not want to miss out on this trip. The deadline is January 15 to secure your spot. Register HERE.

 

CPCKids. Fun Friday for 4th-6th graders.  Join us on January 10 (7:00 – 8:30 p.m.) at CPC for games, GROG and good times! Come and invite your friends!

 

Parents Dine-In. SAVE THE DATE!  Saturday, February 1 (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.). Come and enjoy dinner at CPC and get to know other CPC parents! There will be fun activities for your kids (they can come in their PJs too!) while you enjoy adult conversation. Reservations are needed for this event. Adult. Lifegroup season will be again ramping back up the week of February 2. CPC will be continuing our study of ACTS part two. Have you considered leading or hosting a LifeGroup for 9 weeks to discuss the sermon as well as get to know others in the congregation?  If you are interested in knowing more about serving in this way, contact Teri Bishop at (teri@cpceco.org)

 

FELLOWSHIP. The Annual Meeting and Chili CookOff will occur on Sunday, January 26 after worship.  Mark your calendar NOW. Details will follow. May the best recipe be chosen.
