Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.  Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.Practice hospitality.

LifeGroups are an important part of the Student Ministry. It is a time for the students to grow in their understanding of God and what it means to be a disciple of Christ, as well as a time for the students to build meaningful relationships and to encourage one another in their faith.

What does a typical Student Ministry LifeGroup look like? We are group that likes to eat, so our time together usually starts with some kind of food and eating!  We then spend some time catching up with one another and asking each other how our weeks went, followed by a time of playing games (favorites: GaGa Ball and Dodgeball). After getting some energy out, we gather together to study Scripture together through a lesson, and then break up into small groups to further discuss what we talked about. We don’t simply want to know about Jesus, but we want our time together to be about knowing Jesus and how our relationship with him impacts our lives on a daily basis.

Wednesday Night

2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month
6th – 12th Grade
Chick-fil-A (Chantilly, VA)
Bring your Bible! Bring a friend!

The Bible can seem really intimidating and you don’t know where to start or how to study it. The Wednesday Night Bible Study is to come together with other students and unpack the Bible so that we better understand the person of God and understand the person, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our studying the Bible together helps us to see how much of a gift it is to our lives and it leads us into a deeper love for God and His people.
