Announcements March 21, 2021

We want to give you a warm welcome, and especially if today is your first time worshiping with us, online or here in person,  simply text the word “WELCOME” to 703-997-4952, so we can reach out and send you a special greeting!

CPC101. Whether you are new or returning to CPC, we want to invite you to CPC 101. CPC 101 is a great first step to help you get plugged-in – to learn about who we are and what it means to be a part of our church family.  Over the course of 3 weeks, you will get to know our leaders, ask questions, and at the end, those who are interested can become members of CPC. Our next group kicks off on Sunday, April 11th . Contact Brian Mowbray at brian@cpceco.org  for details.

LifeGroups are the heart of CPC and we hope you’ll join one!  It’s your chance to intentionally connect together as a church family in worship and go deeper in a small group setting. A new set of LifeGroups begin after Easter and will follow our next 6-week sermon series called “Set Free.”  These sermon-based LifeGroups will be facilitated online and in person at CPC, so you can pick what’s best for you!  Click HERE to find details on all the groups and sign up HERE!

Bible Studies. A new season of Bible Studies begin after Easter. Three great studies are kicking off! Warrior Women by Bianca Juarez Olthoff, The Importance of Bible Prophesy, and more. Review and sign up HERE.

Easter Baskets. Thank you to everyone who provided items for the Easter baskets for vulnerable children in our community. If you have not brought your donations, please bring them by no later than Monday so we can assemble the baskets. We still need a few chocolate bunnies. SIGN UP HERE.

Easter is also a great opportunity to volunteer as we need many from our congregation to assist in making this the best Easter ever!  Sign up HERE or Check the E-letter or website to see how you can join the team and make a difference!

Do you garden? This Spring, the CPC vegetable garden is moving to a community garden model. If you are interested in being involved with planning, gardening, or assisting, please contact Director of Missions Sharon Hoover (sharon@cpceco.org).

Vienna Presbyterian Church is sponsoring  Racial Reconciliation conversation Small Groups. If you would like more information,  fill out an interest form HERE  and contact Lauren Mowbray at lbmowbray@gmail.com for more details.

There is a TOWN HALL meeting immediately following the 10:30 am worship on March 21.    Information about the meetings –  website.  Can’t be here in person on Sunday? Zoom in  HERE

Mark your calendars for our Congregational meeting coming up on April 11th. And today is the final day to give our Missions team your donations for children’s Easter baskets. Drop off items here in the church lobby, or after hours you can leave them in the Missions bin just outside the front entrance. Thank you to those who have already contributed, and we hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
