All Church Picnic this Sunday. We can’t wait to celebrate life together with you and your family at our Annual Fall Kick-off and Picnic this Sunday September 11th! Worship will be extra special as we honor our founding pastor, Rob Bromhead. The building will be bustling with lots of ministry opportunities for the Fall and… we will have great food, games and fun for all ages at our picnic following worship at 11:30am. The Deacons will be serving drinks, so please stop by and have a chat with your Deacon. They would love to see you! Register for the picnic here and let us know what food item you can bring to share. We also need volunteers to help with this fun event! If you can help, please sign up here. We’ll see you there!

SERVE TOGETHER
Welcome Ministry. CPC is looking for individuals (and families!) to join our Sunday morning hospitality team! Our Welcome Ministry helps to make a positive and lasting impression of who we are as a community and what Jesus is all about the moment guests arrive. Whether opening doors, greeting with a smile, refilling coffee supplies, or answering questions in the lobby, there are simple ways for all ages to lend a helping hand.

Call for September Pot Roasts and Water. Would you prepare one of the ten roasts or bring waters for September 20? Bring fully assembled on Sunday, September 18 or bring hot to CPC by 10:30am on September 20. A simple recipe is on the CPC sign-up page and on our website. Let us know on the Sign-up Genius form. One more idea: Cook your pot roast now, then put in the CPC freezer. We will reheat it on the 20th!
Life First (pregnancy resource center) will host an Open House & Ribbon Cutting at their new Manassas location on Thursday, September 15th (12-2:00pm). Tour the facility, learn about volunteer opportunities, and ask questions. Please RSVP here.
Save the Date. On September 25, Todd and Maureen Erickson, our mission partner serving in Guatemala will visit CPC! Serving with Iglesia del Camino, they are committed to building transformational relationships through the local church. Plan to join us for lunch after the 2nd service to hear more about their work and the opportunity to serve on the summer ‘23 mission team.
LTES English Class help needed. In mid-October, we will begin English Class for parents of London Towne Elementary children (Wed evenings, 7-8pm). Would you pray about joining our team?
