ADVENT WORKSHOP THIS SUNDAY. Kick off the Christmas season after the second service on November 27th for an all-church, intergenerational event. We will make Advent wreaths, a family Advent craft, and fellowship together. A great event to bring your family to… and invite neighbors!!! Food will be provided. If you have your “wreath form” from a previous year, please bring.

Women’s Christmas Breakfast. Ladies, we are thrilled to invite you to our Women’s Christmas Breakfast on Saturday morning, December 3rd from 9:00am-11:00am here at CPC. This will be a great time of fellowship and encouragement as we dive into the Christmas season. Please consider bringing friends and neighbors to this special event as we are reminded of the REAL reason for this amazing season. 2022 Christmas Offering. This year we turn our attention to the work of the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry (HRFP). Located in Gainesville, HRFP provides food and essentials for our neighbors in Prince William and Fauquier counties. Food insecurity remains a critical issue in our community. Would you join us as come alongside HRFP to meet the food insecurity needs of hundreds of families every week? More information and the giving link is on our CPC website.

Giving Tree. The Christmas Giving Tree in the lobby displays special gift request “ornaments” for gift bag items for homeless women, gift cards for vulnerable teens, and household items for newly housed families. All gifts are needed by December 15th. Thank you so much!

New At CPC. Want to get connected at CPC? Come join our pastors for our monthly meeting this Sunday, December 11th after church to hear more about life in our church family! Lunch and childcare provided.

Movie Night.  Men of CPC, step up to the plate and invite your life partner out for a date. On Sunday, 4 December at 4 pm, CPC men can take their spouses out for a night at the movies. We will gather at the Fairfax Corner Cinemark theater to see “I Heard the Bells,” the story of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and his composition of the eponymous Christmas hymn.
