Sunday Seminar. Turning Down the Volume: Should Christians get Woke? In a world where people are more divided by the day, we want to be a church where people can come together to talk about difficult topics. This week Pastor Aaron chats about we respond to a world with radically changing perceptions of culture and justice. Meets Sunday morning 9:30am-10:30am in 201. Nursery care provided.
Water and A Few More Pot Roasts Needed for this Month. Would you prepare one of the ten roasts or bring waters for November 15th? Bring fully assembled on Sunday, November 13 or bring hot to CPC by 10:30am on November 15. A simple recipe is on the CPC sign-up page and on our website. Let us know on the Sign-up Genius form.
Missions Planning. Do justice issues or homelessness burden you? Does your heart ache for orphans or for people who have not yet heard the gospel message? Join us to plan CPC’s 2022-2023 missional engagement. The 4th Quarter Meeting is Thursday, November 10 (7:00pm-8:30pm) in Room 103.
Little Lambs Ministry Interest Meeting. Attention Knitters and Crocheters! A new ministry is starting up at CPC. Would you knit a shawl, lap robe, or baby blanket for a member of our church family and help us to show them God’s love in a very tangible way? Our first informational meeting is scheduled for 11/17 at 7:00pm. If you have questions, please contact Susan Blair at susandblair@aol.com.
Advent Workshop. Kick off the Christmas season after the second service on November 27th as we make wreaths, ornaments, and fellowship together. A great event to bring your family to… and invite neighbors!
