Food Drive concludes on the 31st. We have a few more days to stock the shelves of our local food pantry WFCM. Download the most-needed list on our website or pick up the list in the CPC lobby. Bring donations to CPC by May 31.
Do you garden? CPC’s vegetable garden is ready for planting! Would you be interested in growing your own vegetables but do not have space at home? God’s Garden has a plot for you! The beds have been tilled, compost added, and irrigation set up. Grow your own food and donate extras to a neighbor, food pantry, or others in need. Celebrate with us! Last week we completed another year of English Classes for the parents of London Towne ES children. We are grateful for the relationships formed and the lessons learned. Many thanks to our weekly team: Shelly Feeley, Debbie Ebright, Vicki Scruggs, Bill Hudspeth, Mike and Julie Throne, Sue Glover, Chris Hoover, Cathy Sly, Christina Black, Wanda Mouser, and Gail LeFloch for their commitment to the parents and children. The Men’s Ministry will have its next monthly gathering on Sunday, June 5th, right after the 2nd service in Room 104. All CPC men and their guests are welcome! We will fellowship together and discuss future events, including a backyard barbecue in late August. A light lunch will be served, and we should be finished by 1pm. Come join us! CPCKids Camp is June 20th-24th! Registration closes on June 1st and we expect to share Jesus’ love with 100 children this year. Do you have time to volunteer and help our team? We still have important volunteer jobs to fill! Join us on June 12th after Sunday worship as we begin to set the stage and transform our church into a desert oasis filled with amazing rock structures and cactus plants!
