HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND

Stephen Ministry Interest Meeting. Stephen Ministers provide one-on-one confidential care with Christ at the center. If you are interested in training to becoming a Stephen Minister, please join us for an interest meeting in between services this Sunday, May 21st at 10am in Room 105. Current Stephen Ministers and leaders would love to answer your questions.

CPCKids Parent Meeting. Join us upstairs in Room 201 immediately following our 10:30am service with childcare provided. Come meet with Jill, our Children’s Ministry Director, to share feedback and to get excited for CPCKids moving forward.

Newcomers Meet & Greet. If you are new or visited us a few times and interested in knowing who we are and what we’re about, please stop by across the hall in Room 101 after 2nd service. We’re beyond happy that you came to spend your Sunday at CPC!

Benefit Concert for Farthest Corners. Greenwich Presbyterian Church (15305 Vint Hill Road, Nokesville) is hosting a special night of music “The Art of Song” on Saturday, May 20th at 7:00pm. The concert features composers Joseph Martin and Heather Sorenson. This is a free event, then an offering will be taken to support our mission partner in Myanmar/Burma.

BUILDING CONNECTIONS & SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

Middle School Summer Retreat Aug 4th- 6th. All of our rising 6th to 9th graders are invited to a fun retreat full of games, fellowship, devotion and it’s all on the water at a riverfront house on the Potomac. Camp Highroad July 6th. Call all rising 4th – 6th graders! We are headed to Camp Highroad Adventure Camp in Middleburg, VA for a day of fun with friends on July 6th. We will be doing a challenge course, canoes, hayride, and zip line! We will depart at 9:30am and return at 4:00pm. Click here to register.

Spring Food Drive. Two more weeks! Help us stock the shelves of our local food pantries. Download the most-needed list on our website or pick up the list in CPC lobby. Want to multiply your efforts? Food Drive Kits are available to host your own mini-food drive at work, in your neighborhood, or with a group of friends. All materials can be downloaded here. Leave donations in the designated area in the lobby anytime!

Homestretch Clothing Needs. With summer approaching, we want to provide the family that CPC sponsors through Homestretch – program helping families experiencing homelessness – with children’s clothes. The needs include: boy’s pants (3T), boy’s shirts (3T), boy’s sandals (size 6), girl’s pants (6-9 months), girl’s shirts (6-9 months), Old Navy or Target gift card (for teenage daughter’s clothes). Bring items to the CPC office any time!

Men’s Ministry Twilight Polo Date Night. Block off your calendars for Sat. Jun 24th. Men’s Ministry will host a Date Night at Great Meadows in The Plains, VA. It is sure to de a delightful evening of Twilight Polo and a picnic! More information to come. Baptism Sunday June 25th. If you are interested in having your child baptized, or being baptized yourself. We will be performing the ceremony on June 25th. Please contact Karen (karen@cpceco.org) if you are interested.
