Ukraine Response. The violence continues and our hearts are heavy. As we continue to pray for peace during this time of conflict, unrest and loss, our ECO denomination has been taking active steps to partner with mission organizations responding to the crisis in Ukraine. Click here to learn more.
Men’s Ministry. The next CPC Men’s Monthly Event will be on Saturday, March 26th. We will meet at the church at 9:30am, beginning in Room 201 for refreshments while viewing and talking about Part 3 of Pastor Mark Batterson’s “Play the Man” series. Then (for those with strong backs!), we’ll head outside to God’s Garden and work for 1-2 hours on bed prep for spring vegetable planting. Please bring garden tools and one bag of manure or compost.
Serve in West Virginia. FINAL CALL! CPC is sending a team to work in Philippi, West Virginia (April 10-14). All ages are welcome as we serve in the World Vision warehouse and do a small construction project. Would you pray about serving on a team? CPC Kids: Next Steps. What will the future of CPC Kids look like after our beloved Hilary Kinitz steps down this summer? What does this ministry need to make sure our children and families THRIVE this year? Join us for an important vision meeting here in the sanctuary after the second service on April 3rd from 11:30am-12:15pm. Childcare provided (kids will stay upstairs)
Easter Baskets. We are preparing Easter treats for the teen of New Hope Fellowship. Through your generous gifts we hope to fill the baskets with small toys, chocolates, water bottles, and other treats. Click here for the complete list. We need donations by Sunday, April 3. Thank you!
Refugee Resettlement Update. Thank you for the items donated for the Afghan families settling in our community. We have several additional needs, including a kitchen table and chairs. More details on our website.
Ongoing Ministry Opportunities. 1) Join the rotation for our Healthy Meals Mission monthly pick-up and delivery of pot roasts for the Lamb Center. The commitment is 10:30am – 11:30am on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. 2) Helpers for the Children’s Homework Room at the weekly LTES outreach are needed (Wednesdays, 7-8:00 pm). Assist with homework, read, and do puzzles with children ages 5-11 while their parents are in English Class. For more details contact Dir of Missions Sharon Hoover (sharon@cpceco.org).
