Women’s Bible Study. Join us at CPC for a 5-week Bible study based on Sharon Hodde Miller’s book, Free of Me. We will learn to focus more on God and others and less on ourselves. Wednesdays at 9am starting June 29th. Childcare provided upon request. Click here to register.

College Students Small Group. If you are in college, grad school, trade school, or are working and college-aged, join our College Students Small Group on Wednesdays at 7pm in Room 101. We’d love to see you there!
Fireside Family BBQ. High school and Middle schoolers are invited to a family BBQ on Sunday, July 3rd from 4pm to 7pm at Pastor Aaron’s home. Parents and siblings are all welcome! Burgers and hot dogs will be provided. Please bring a dish to share! Click here for more details.
Our annual collection for school backpacks is underway! We need 80 regular-sized, fun, colorful backpacks for local school children. Donations are needed by July 31st. No time to shop? You can donate funds and we’ll do your shopping! You can give online or with a check (be sure to include “backpacks” in the memo section). Or, you can order backpacks online and have them shipped to the church building.
LTES. Last week completed this year’s Weekend Food outreach for London Towne Elementary School. Many thanks to everyone who worked weekly to serve the children in our community: Debbie Ebrigh, Rosita Fernandez, Allison Fink, Gail LeFloch, Becca Marcus, Diane Mitchell, Barbara Plaster, Laura Schutz, Cathy Sly, Creighton Turner, and Karen Wroniewicz. Ministry partner, Life First, needs help moving into their new Manassas location. Projected date: June 24-25. Cleaning, landscaping, light construction (build dumpster enclosure, patch holes, hang tv’s, etc), and moving boxes are all needed. More details on their sign-up form.
Call for June Pot Roasts and Water. Would you prepare one of the eight roasts or bring waters for June 21? Bring fully assembled on Sunday, June 19 or bring hot to CPC by 10:30am on June 21. Thank you for the Food Drive donations! We collected 1,384 pounds of food for Western Fairfax Christian Ministries, exceeding last year’s collection by 112 pounds! The food pantry will continue to have needs throughout the summer. Additional donations can be taken to the pantry any weekday morning.
Student Ministry Missions. Be praying for our missions trip coming up June 25th-July 1st in Hazard, Kentucky. We will be helping with a small church VBS and housing work projects.
