Fireside Family BBQ this Sunday! High school and Middle schoolers are invited to a family BBQ on July 3rd from 4pm to 7pm at Pastor Aaron’s home. Parents and siblings are all welcome! Burgers and hot dogs will be provided. Please bring a dish to share. Click here for more info.

Middle School River Trip. July 22nd to 23rd, CPC middle school students will be taking an overnight trip to a river house! There will be kayaking, paddle boarding, and video games, and JD and Emilene will be preaching a gospel message during the trip. It will be a great time for fun, friends, and Jesus! Student Ministry Schedule Changes. A new summer schedule for weekly meetings starts July 20th!

  • Middle School Sunday at 10:30am
  • High School on Wednesday at 7:00pm
  • Both MS & HS together on Sunday Nights at 6pm


Our annual collection for school backpacks is underway! We need 80 regular-sized, fun, colorful backpacks for local school children. Donations are needed by July 31st. No time to shop? You can donate funds and we’ll do your shopping! You can give online or with a check (be sure to include “backpacks” in the memo section). Or, you can order backpacks online and have them shipped to the church building.

Call for July Pot Roasts and Water. Would you prepare one of the ten roasts or bring waters for the Lamb Center (day shelter for local homeless neighbors)? Bring fully assembled on Sunday, July 17 or bring hot to CPC by 10:30am on July 19. A simple recipe is on the CPC sign-up page and on our website. Let us know on the Sign-up Genius form. The Lamb Center is seeking volunteers! The day shelter needs help at their front desk, kitchen, laundry room, and clothing closet. Shifts range from 2-4 hours at a time, Monday through Friday between 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Volunteers need to be over 18 years old. Camp Highroad for Rising 4th-6th. Calling all rising 4th, 5th, and 6th graders! Join us Monday, July 25th from 9am to 4pm as CPCKids goes to Camp Highroad. We’ll spend the day enjoying team challenges, archery, a hay ride, and a zip line! To sign up, click here.

Women’s Bible Study. Join us Wednesdays at 9am in Room 201, for a Bible study based on Sharon Hodde Miller’s book Free of Me. We’ll learn to focus more on God and others, and less on ourselves. POC: Amy McMillan 

College Students Small Group.  If you are in college, grad school, trade school, or are working but are college aged, we are having a college student small group Wednesdays at 7pm in Room 101. We would love to see you there!
