Ash Wednesday. Let us begin the season of Lent and our preparation for Holy Week with a celebration of Ash Wednesday. Join us for a service or reflection along with a distribution of ashes on Wednesday February 22nd at 7:30pm.

Life First. This week we welcome to CPC our ministry partner, Life First who will give us an update on their outreach. Life First comes alongside those affected by unplanned pregnancy. Their new facility in Manassas is now open. To help with the costs, pick up a Baby Bottle in the CPC Lobby. Fill it with change and return by March 19.

Men’s Group Breakfast with the Youth Group on Feb 25th. CPC men will plan and host a breakfast for members of our youth group from 8:30am to 10:30 am.  We will have a short devotional and a few testimonials from both mature and younger believers, and enjoy some awesome fellowship together. Please RSVP to Dave Arnold (davidrarnold1@gmail.com) or Mike Kershner (kershnermi@gmail.com) by Wednesday, February 22nd. See you there!

Sunday Seminar “How to not Untie the Knot: Making a Marriage Last.” The world is falling out of love with the idea of marriage, let’s fall in love with it again. Pastor Aaron and Amy, and the Polizzi’s will be leading us in a discussion about the deep, rich, life-giving reality of biblical marriage — something we need more than ever before. Join us on Sunday mornings, February 26th and March 5th at 9am. Childcare available.

Stephen Ministry. Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who receive special training to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss, and many other life difficulties. If you would like to know more about becoming or receiving care from a Stephen Minister, we will be in the lobby on Sunday, February 26th to answer questions and give information. You can also reach out to Chris Hammond at chris@cpceco.org

Weekend Food for Children. Every week we provide 90 bags of food for needy children at London Towne Elementary School. As the result of CPC’s food outreach, children return to school on Monday having had a weekend with better nutrition and better prepared to learn. We need to raise $4,000 to be able to complete the 2022-23 school year. Would you consider giving to help with this need? Give online (choose LTES Donations in the drop down menu) or write “LTES Weekend Food” on the memo of your check. Thank you!

The worship ministry is in need of a few iPads. If you have a 2016 or newer iPad you’re not using, would you consider donating it to us? You can drop them off at the church office or give them to Bryan Olden.
