We are in the 4th week to raise funds for the Advent Missions Giving focus with our ministry partner Every Orphan’s Hope. Thank you to everyone who gave to this special Missions gift. To join in the Advent Missions, you can give online by noting “Advent Missions” in the online giving portal or with a check and include “EOH” in the memo line.
Thank you for all the donations from this year’s Giving Tree! The gifts for children were delivered two weeks ago. And our youth group assembled the personal hygiene items into gift bags for homeless women. Thanks for helping to share Christ’s love throughout our community.
Lamb Center Lunch. Would you be able to provide some fresh grab-and-go food items for the Lamb Center (homeless day shelter)? Full list is here. All items at CPC are needed by 10:00 am on Tuesday morning, December 21. Questions? Contact Director of Missions Sharon Hoover (sharon@cpceco.org).
Help needed. Would you have time to help pick-up and deliver furniture for newly arriving refugees? CPC is helping with the resettlement of Afghan families in our area. Occasionally, we need help to prepare a new home. If you are able, we will add you to the email list and let you know as needs arise. If your schedule permits, come and join in. Community service hours available through this work, also. Contact Director of Missions Sharon Hoover to sign up, or if you have any questions (sharon@cpceco.org).
Merry Christmas from the staff of Centreville Presbyterian Church. Our church office is closed December 27-31. Please email kim@cpceco.org if you are in need of any assistance.
Un-decorating. Consider helping us out to put away our Christmas decorations here at CPC after the 10:30am worship on January 2nd. Questions? Contact Jerry Hammack (jerry@cpceco.org).
Life Groups begin Feb 13th. Want to get involved? Contact Paul Lauerman (paul@cpceco.org).
