Missions Planning Opportunity. The 2nd Quarter Meeting is Tuesday, April 5 (7pm-8:30pm). Does your heart ache for those who do not yet know the good news of Christ? Do justice issues, homelessness, and orphan care burden you? Help us plan CPC’s 2022 Missions Ministry.

Serving Opportunities.  1) Western Fairfax Christian Ministries needs volunteers for the food pantry. They are looking for baggers, stockers, and warehouse helpers. Details on the WFCM website. 2) WFCM also needs egg cartons to re-package bulk eggs into smaller containers and empty water bottles to be used for laundry detergent. Take them directly to WFCM in Chantilly or bring to CPC. 3) The Lamb Center (Fairfax day shelter for homeless men and women) is seeking weekly volunteers and substitutes for the kitchen and the laundry space. What CPC Kids will be learning this month |  PreK to K: “Topher’s Egg-cellent Adventure” Get ready for the hoppiest Easter ever! Our mischievous friend, Topher the Gopher, got into the Easter basket and hid the eggs all over the preschool room. Not to worry, though! During “Topher’s Egg-cellent Adventure,” the preschoolers will hop around the room, looking for the hidden story eggs. As the colored eggs are recovered, the good news is discovered—Jesus is alive! Grades 1st to 5th: “Science Spectacular” There’s something about seeing the physical properties of nature reacting to each other right in front of your eyes. During “Professor Sid’s Science Spectacular,” kids will not only get to see some of the coolest science experiments around, but they’ll also use those experiments as a catalyst for understanding the most spectacular story ever told—the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
