SERVING NEEDS

Lamb Center Saturday Breakfast and Lunch.
CPC currently supports the Lamb Center by providing breakfast and a lunch monthly. Breakfasts are served the first Saturday of every month. Lunches are provided the third Tuesday of every month. For us to continue to meet this need consistently and effectively however, we need additional volunteers.  MORE DETAILS.

Would you consider signing your family up for one of the below tasks just once this year? You can help support this important mission in the following ways:

    • Deliver breakfast. This task requires picking up all of the donated food items from the CPC kitchen on Friday afternoon and warming the casseroles, and delivering it to the Lamb Center Saturday morning.

    • Serve breakfast. Show up at the Lamb Center between 7:45-8:00 a.m. to help set up and serve the guests. Breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 10:30.

    • Deliver lunch. This task is to pick up hot pot roasts (approximately 10:30 am) from CPC and deliver to Lamb Center in time for Tuesday lunch the third week of each month.

  •  Donate food to either breakfast or lunch. Sign-up to donate fruit, casseroles, milk, juice, yogurt, or pot roasts in support of either the lunch or the breakfast.

The Sign-up pages can be found here. For additional information, please read the attached letter. You can also contact Carol Wallace or Lauren Mowbray.

Be Active this Summer.
As the seasons change, new routines open new opportunities. Would you be able to join us as we serve partners? Be active with our partners to build, cook, garden, collect, plarn and share Christ. Visit the Serving This Summer article on our website for summary details.

Want to Help Grow Veggies?
On the right-side of CPC’s entrance is our vegetable garden. We’re growing food to donate to local homeless shelters and low-income neighbors. We’d love your help! We have a watering schedule to keep everything growing. Head gardener, Sebastian Wilbern would love to chat with you.

Backpacks.
We are collecting new backpacks for local children to begin the 2019-20 school year equipped for success. The students at London Town Elementary School and New Hope Fellowship will receive the backpacks collected. Donations needed by mid-August.
