Women’s Book Club

I participate in the reading group because it is a good excuse to read and I love to read! I like the group because it prompts me to read books that I might not have otherwise known about or thought of reading. Discussing books in a group forces me to read more attentively and I like all the input that our group has to share. And we have definitely had some interesting discussions!

We read a book a few years ago called “The Christmas Jar” and we decided to start the tradition that was mentioned in the book. So, each year we collect our pocket change and fill a very large jar. We pass the jar along to someone we have heard of who is in financial need along with a copy of the book. I think this is our third year!
