Three More Minutes from Pastor Rob

Dear Family of CPC-

I wanted to take a moment to close the loop with just a few thoughts about our sermon series “Building Equity in NOVA“.  I felt that a few things were left unsaid. I know there are many of you who are still in the process of investing your “God money” that you received on Sunday, September 11, 2011. We as your church family want to hear how the Lord led you in spending it to further His kingdom. To that end please share what you did with it here. We will be monitoring the blog and sharing your stories on the screens in the sanctuary during the announcements on Sunday mornings. These accounts assist us in praying for those who are the recipients of God’s money.

The 3 month tithing challenge (October, November and December) that I presented at the end of the sermon this past Sunday is one that will change our lives. Individually it will require us to step out in faith in our Heavenly Father and stand on the promise that he knows and supplies what we need (Matthew 6:32-33). By involving the Lord in our finances we will experience his miraculous ways of providing for our families. As a church this challenge will enable us to impact our community here in Northern Virginia with the good news of Christ in some powerful ways. Please let me know how God has met your needs during this three month experiment. Again we want to hear your story of the Lord’s faithfulness to you.
