Thanks Mom and Dad! Love your middle school son/daughter

A note from Nicole (and your middle school kids)…
Dear Parents & Grandparents,

Yesterday in Sunday school your kids discussed the importance of being in relationship with you and being thankful for all you’ve done for them.  Here’s what they had to say:

  • I am thankful for my mom making money and buying me stuff and for always being there for me.
  • I am thankful for everything that my parents do to keep a roof over my head and to provide me with warm clothes.  Not many people are blessed in the ways I am with everything my parents give to me.  Thanks.
  • I am thankful for them because they love and support me no matter how stressful, annoying, and nuisance-like I am.  It is unconditional love.
  • For letting me do sports.
  • I am thankful for my parents because they take the time to take me to practices and games for my sports.
  • One thing I love about my parents is how I can always tell them everything.  They might get mad at me and I might get  punished, but I always feel less guilty when I tell them.  Mom and Dad have always taught me how to love Jesus and that he loves me no matter what.   Thanks Mom and Dad.
  • Dear Mom and Dad, Thank you for loving me more than anyone in the world.  Thank you for spending your time with me.  Thanks for spending your money on things as golf, camping and other things.
  • I’m thankful for my parents driving me around.
  • Dear Parents: Thank you for giving me life.
  • I am thankful for my guinea pig and letting me have my guinea pig from my parents.
  • I am thankful that my parents support me in school.
  • My mom is seriously stressed but so great at working through it.
  • One thing I like about my parents are their sense of old person humor.
  • I am thankful for how kind and loving they are.
  • I am thankful that they bring me to church to learn about God.
  • I thank my parents for being nice and letting me sign up for sports.
  • I am thankful for my parents pushing me to do things I don’t know I want to do yet, but eventually love and love them for it.
  • I am thankful for my parents that care for me.
  • I am thankful that my parents are so helpful and always encourage me in the things I do.
