For the Fall 2017 LifeGroup season, we will connect the Living Generously Curriculum from The Reimagine Group to our sermons series also called Living Generously. Bible Study

Suffering With Job (Part 3) – Sundays, 11:30 AM
Mitch Kirsch, mitch@kirches.org  CPC 9/17/17 – 11/05/17
We will continue our study in the book of Job. When suffering comes to us, we often ask why. The book of Job examines the suffering of one man who suffered precisely because he was blameless. His friends supposed that Job was guilty of some unknown sin. They tried to persuade him to repent, but Job did not accept their pat explanations. Finally, God appeared, but He did not give Job the answers he sought. Instead, God confronted him, changed his perspective, and blessed him.

Young Adult – Sundays, 7:00 PM
Oscar Hernandez, oscar.ahf30@gmail.com Hernandez’s Home, Centreville 20120
Kate Hernandez, khernandez7216@gmail.com 9/17/17 – 11/05/17

We will be going through the video curriculum Ephesians by J.D. Greear. Pastor and author J.D. Greear walks through the powerful words of Paul.  This study digs into the text of Ephesians verse-by-verse and challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of your city, of your workplace, of your family are going to hear the gospel, it’s going to be from your mouth. Encounter Ephesians, and get swept up into the story of Jesus.

Revelation Study – Wednesdays, 7:00 PM
Steve Calesari, steve.calesaric@lmco.com CPC
Steve Hiemstra, hiemstra@yahoo.com   9/27/17 – 11/08/17

John’s Book of Revelation is perhaps the least understood and most feared book of the Bible. The symbolism and the historical references of this book can be overwhelming. In this LifeGroup session, we will explore the first 12 chapters of Revelations to help us gain a better understanding of Jesus’ return. We will explore the four themes of surrounding the Book of Revelation to include:

– Encouraging believers in troubling times

– Highlighting the prophecies surrounding Jesus Christ

– Detailing the links between both the Old and New Testaments

– Identifying the moral and doctrinal problems that existed in the church

Dumas’ Home Group – Wednesdays, 7:15 PM
Diane and Don Dumas, ddumas4@verizon.net  Dumas’ Home, Centreville 20120
Gail and Fred Komro, gfkh52@gmail.com 9/27/17 – 11/08/17

We will be going through the book If Trading Your If Only Regrets for God’s What If Possibilities. The word IF, is a powerful little word. Some people are stuck in “if only,” trudging through lives marked with regret. But God wants us to live lives marked with possibilities, with the “what if” attitude that looks forward to the future with confidence. Why? Because the answer to “If God is for us, who can be against us?” is “No one.” God is always on our side. Every day, in every way.

Student Ministry

This whole year, the Student Ministry will be exploring the work of the Holy Sprit in transforming us into Disciples of Christ who are Christ-like in everyday things we do. A British evangelist by the name of Rodney Smith once said, “there are five Gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the Christian- but most people never read the first four.” Our prayer is that our understanding of the first four Gospels will continue to shape our lives to invite others to know the person of Jesus.
