Sermon Based Discussion
For the Fall 2017 LifeGroup season, we will connect the Living Generously Curriculum from The Reimagine Group to our sermons series also called Living Generously. For seven weeks, we will be challenged as church family to examine own hearts as we think about giving God the best of all of we have to offer with our time, treasures, talents, & testimonies.

This study digs into the text of Ephesians verse-by-verse and challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of your city, of your workplace, of your family are going to hear the gospel, it’s going to be from your mouth. Encounter Ephesians, and get swept up into the story of Jesus.

John’s Book of Revelation is perhaps the least understood and most feared book of the Bible. The symbolism and the historical references of this book can be overwhelming. In this LifeGroup session, we will explore the first 12 chapters of Revelations to help us gain a better understanding of Jesus’ return. We will explore the four themes of surrounding the Book of Revelation to include:
– Encouraging believers in troubling times
– Highlighting the prophecies surrounding Jesus Christ
– Detailing the links between both the Old and New Testaments
– Identifying the moral and doctrinal problems that existed in the church

We will be going through the book If Trading Your If Only Regrets for God’s What If Possibilities. The word IF, is a powerful little word. Some people are stuck in “if only,” trudging through lives marked with regret. But God wants us to live lives marked with possibilities, with the “what if” attitude that looks forward to the future with confidence. Why? Because the answer to “If God is for us, who can be against us?” is “No one.” God is always on our side. Every day, in every way.

As we plant and harvest the garden we want to provide the bounty to local missions to provide fresh, healthy, and natural foods to those within out community that may not have healthy diets. This fall we will be studying Forgotten God by Francis Chan. You will be reminded in this study of the true source of the church’s power—the Holy Spirit. We have ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, we operate in our own strength, only accomplishing human-sized results. This seven-session video resource offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit’s direction in our lives. It is designed to initiate and facilitate discussion, interaction and practical application of the message of Forgotten God.
Impact Servant Leader Cohort – Thursdays, 7:00 PM
|Chris Jarrell, email@example.com||CPC||9/28/17 – 11/16/17|
This whole year, the Student Ministry will be exploring the work of the Holy Sprit in transforming us into Disciples of Christ who are Christ-like in everyday things we do. A British evangelist by the name of Rodney Smith once said, “there are five Gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the Christian- but most people never read the first four.” Our prayer is that our understanding of the first four Gospels will continue to shape our lives to invite others to know the person of Jesus.
