Growth Group FAQs

GROWTH GROUPS are a place where all people can come as they are to study God’s Word, share their lives, care and be cared for, and pray.  Invest 8 weeks in a life-changing Growth Group and discover friends who may even journey with you for a lifetime.

What are growth groups (GG)?

GGs consist of 15-20 people who provide love, support, friendship, connection and spiritual growth. The format is an informal and comfortable 1 ½ -2 hour gathering at the home of a facilitator for 8 weeks. Participants are comprised of people from CPC, as well as friends, neighbors, relatives and coworkers who are invited to join in the adventure.

How does it work?

GGs will meet once a week for eight weeks at a leaders home for fellowship and Bible study. Each session you will have the opportunity to sign up for a new study and/or group.

My commitment ?

• Make it a priority to attend ALL sessions.
• Make it a priority to worship at CPC during the weeks your Growth Group meets.
• Strive to build relationships with those in your group.
• Participate in your group’s mission and social activities.

Who can attend?

Anyone that has a heart to learn more about God’s word and the desire to connect with other Christians.  All are welcome: young, old, married, single, retired.  Any age, any stage!  Invite your friends and neighbors!

What if I can’t make it this time?

Growth Groups occur three times a year. So you have two more chances to attend a growth group. There will be a session in the Winter after the new year begins and another session in the Spring.

How do I sign-up next time?

Signing up for a growth group is easy.  Pick one of the ways listed below.

  • Select a growth group online.
  • Fill out the green connection card in the bulletin
  • Write your name on the list in the CPC lobby.
