Missions

Do you have one day, a weekend, or more to give?? Do you enjoy serving children or the elderly? Do you like to do construction, yard work, or cook for the homeless? Do you have a heart for the lost in the city…or in rural locations?

We believe in connecting with our community and beyond. We seek to serve locally in soup kitchens, shelters, and schools. Our high school summer projects have taken us to cities –London, New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Lake Erie and Detroit and rural locations – West Virginia, Cranks Creek in Kentucky, Arizona to serve the Apache nation, Montana to serve the Crow nation as well as to Costa Rica and Mexico to serve alongside those in poverty in Central America.

SERVING the COMMUNITY

Our ministry prepares and serves breakfast for the Lamb Center (soup kitchen and homeless ministry near Fairfax Circle) on the fourth Saturday of every month (7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.).  We need casseroles, hard-boiled eggs, apples, bananas, and oranges, donated by the fourth Friday.  If you are able to donate items or to go on a Saturday, please contact Pam Murdoch at snpmurdoch@aol.com.
