Bible Studies
Spring Greetings Ladies,
I hope this beautiful spring weather and the start to spring break (for those with kids!!) has you all in good spirits!! I wanted to send out a quick message to let you all know that we will be taking a break from doing a spring bible study this year. I apologize to those of you who were really looking forward to doing an organized study in the spring, however, I wanted to let you know to mark your calendars now for the start of our fall study beginning September 19th. We will be doing Beth Moore’s study on James: Mercy Triumphs. We will continue to meet on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and childcare will be provided. The study runs for 9 weeks and the cost of workbooks is $20. I’ll send out a reminder/sign-up email in August. Read the segment below for details about the study itself.
James: Mercy Triumphs – by Beth Moore provides a personal study experience five days a week plus viewer guides for the 8 video sessions of this in-depth women’s Bible study. James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
Have a wonderful spring and summer ladies. And I also wish you all a very blessed Easter!!
Love and hugs — Julie
